I think we can get somthing for zach but not lonzo. I'd rather keep lonzo and let him walk next year. if the bulls are going to tank, it makes no sense to attach assets now to unload him and/or zach. no point in focusing on the past. they are making the right moves NOW. lol (I know I know) and clearing the books when we plan on being bad is pointless. let zach rehab his value and maybe get a better package for him next year after more high end contracts get signed. next year his deal will look more reasonable and easier to move too...... *but just might opinion and point of view.

I like this signing. Bulls got a modern big who can fit this roster. He's only 24 years old and fits the Bulls youth movement. He can shoot the 3 at a respectable clip. I like the contract years (3) and the money that can grow as he enters his prime. He is a perfect backup for Vuc.

We all want to see Vuc traded. Jaylen Smith is better in this generation as a big than Vuc is. The Bulls hit a home run with this signing. This signing is 2nd to the Caruso signing in the AKME era. Demar, Caruso, Jaylen Smith. Lonzo was great but already had injury concerns before he signed with the Bulls.

The fact that Zo was such a key piece to the big 3 of Derozan/Vuc/Lavine. proves they were never the big 3 if they were relying on Zo. There is no big 3 in the NBA that wouldn't survive without what the Bulls were calling a role player in Zo. It also means there was no big 3 or the big was structured incorrectly which is what I said from the beginning. I said how do you put together a with forwards and center who don't play defense and call it a big 3. 🤣

You guys are misinterpreting the Lonzo situation. There is no risk for any team to take on Lonzo in a buyout as the Bulls are paying the majority of the salary. If the Bulls buyout Lonzo, you will see many teams go after him because there is no risk. Who wouldn't add a 26 year old ball moving PG when that team isn't paying the majority of the salary for that 1 year. There is no risk. If it works out, they get to keep him longer and probably for less money. In facts, there were many teams waiting for this including the Warriors (although an Apron team), the Spurs (even just signing 40 year old CP). The Clippers are waiting. Some of you are underestimating teams who want Zo.

Bulls biggest problems are signing big contracts and the players get hurt, you cant win when half your cap is hurt!

IT will be difficult to trade Zo which is why AK said he will be doing 5 on 5 soon and be at summer league. The only possibility for Zo is if he agrees to a buyout.

I see what he is saying about Zach and Demar. Zach works into the elbow a lot and either drops out behind the arc or drives to the rim, if stopped he pops a mid from the elbow or interior logo, his 25%. Off ball Zach waits for rebounds at the elbow or waits to snipe. Demar Starts in the elbow and either drives, kicks or works his spots in the high post. This equates to the ball 'sticking' in the elbow instead of playing out of it. Throw Vuc in the mix and it feels like every play starts or ends in the Elbow.

This could be the Clippers or Lakers. The Clippers are looking to move Russell Westbrook. After PG signed with the Sixers this could make sense since Russell is on a 1 year deal. The Lakers are also possible but the Zach Lavine contract is a little difficult to move. Also, keep a look out for the Kings and Warriors.
